Scrum Gathering – day I
By Christian Vindinge Rasmussen, on March 17th, 2009,
The first day of the gathering was really good – I managed to complete all my goals for the day (read my past post regarding scrumhubs), and met alot of great people here. I got so much knowledge to bring back to my office right so I am really looking forward for next week and returning to work.
The first day I attended the following sessions: Opening Session by Ken Schwaber, ScrumHub Research by Dr. Mark Paulk, Leading Self-organizing Teams by Mike Cohn, View from PMI by Greg Balestrero, You thought you knew Scrum? by Ken SChwaber and Alistair Cockburn, Scrum in waterfall by Dave Prior, Legally Agile – A view from lady justice by Bob Schatz…
…so it was a busy day with lots of meetings in between the sessions.
Right now I have to digest most the input before making any comments here on the blog, but this Gathering is MUCH better than the last one in Stockholm – so really good job Scrum Alliance!!!
Later I will return with a post regarding the Scrum in a waterfall enviroment – I think this needs alot more attention outthere!
/Chris.
